Rustic White Cedar Log Dining Set with Chairs

The pieces are made from authentic Northern White Cedar and arrive completely unfinished so you can enjoy the natural beauty of the wood or put your own finishing touches on it. The chairs have high, fanned backs and contoured seats while the table has a smooth top with a center hole for a patio umbrella. Because the log patio table and chairs are made from real wood, no two sets will ever have the same grain or checking patterns.

It is quite normal for all cedar log furniture to endure the natural process of "checking." As the wood "seasons", checking occurs as a log releases moisture across or through the annual growth rings. This process does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. All logs which contain the heart of the tree will develop these lengthwise cracks or checks. The checking spot never goes deeper than the heart. All of our log furniture is kiln dried before being used in production so that we can control where the location is on the checking. It is never used where it will effect the integrity of the product.
