We Didn't Start in Outdoor Furniture
Outdoor Furniture Plus didn't begin with patio furniture. It began with relationships.
Long before our first outdoor dining set was ever sold, our owner, Holly, spent years working as a factory representative in the home décor and accessories industry. Her days were spent visiting retailers, learning products inside and out, solving problems, and building relationships that have lasted to this day.
That experience shaped the way we still do business today.
When Holly started her family, life on the road no longer made sense. Looking for a way to continue serving customers while spending more time at home, she launched an online business in 2004 based around lighting.
It may sound like an unusual beginning, but that business taught her something we as a company think is still true:
Even online, people want to buy from someone they trust.
As the years passed and the lighting industry changed, a new opportunity emerged. In 2011, her family purchased a group of websites focused on outdoor furniture, gardening accessories, and pet products. Over time, one thing became obvious.
Outdoor living wasn't just another product category.
It just feels like home.
Our Customer Commitment
At Outdoor Furniture Plus, we believe buying outdoor furniture should feel as comfortable as enjoying it. We're here to share what we've learned from years of working with premium outdoor furniture brands, helping thousands of customers across the country for over 3 decades, and creating outdoor spaces of our own.
We Don't Just Process Orders
One of the questions we're often asked is what makes Outdoor Furniture Plus different. The answer is surprisingly simple. We don't believe our job is to process orders.
We believe our job is to help people make good decisions.
Buying outdoor furniture online can be challenging.

That's where we come in.
Every member of our team spends time learning the products we represent. We attend the Casual Market in Atlanta each year to meet with manufacturers, see new collections firsthand and deepen our product knowledge. We personally own furniture from several of the brands we sell, giving us firsthand experience with the materials and long-term performance we can pass along to our customers.
If we don't know the answer to a question, we don't guess.
We find the answer and get back to you.
After an Order is Placed, We Sometimes Pick Up the Phone
Here's something that surprises many customers. Every order we receive is reviewed by a real person. Not because software can't process it. Because people notice things software often doesn't.
Maybe you've accidentally selected two different fabric groups that weren't intended to coordinate.
Maybe you've ordered replacement slings for a frame that needs additional measurements.
Maybe you've combined multiple frame or poly colors in a way that doesn't seem intentional.
When an order doesn't pass what we jokingly call the "sniff test," we'll often give you a call or send a quick email for clarification.
Not because there's a problem.
Because we'd rather spend a few minutes reaching out to you with a question than have you spend years wishing someone had.
Does every order need a phone call? Of course not.
But when we think a conversation could help prevent disappointment, we'll always choose the conversation.
We're Here Long After Delivery Day
No company can honestly promise that every order will be perfect.
Furniture is handcrafted. Freight carriers have trucks that are driven by humans. Manufacturers occasionally make mistakes.
What matters most isn't whether problems ever happen.
It's how they're handled when they do.
If something arrives damaged, if a replacement part is needed, or if you have an assembly question are here to help you solve your problem. We'll work with the manufacturer, help coordinate replacement parts whenever possible, answer your questions, and stay involved until the issue is resolved.
For us, customer service doesn't end when the truck pulls away.
In many ways, that's when it begins.

Whenever possible, we add assembly instructions, assembly videos, line drawings, detailed dimensions, buying tips, finish information, and answers to questions we've heard from our customers over the years.

The more information you have, the better decision you'll be able to make.
Our goal has never been to simply download or upload products from a feed that the manufacturers provide.
Our goal is to help you understand the items you are considering.
