This item ships via UPS or FedEx ground transportation. We do not require signatures upon receipt and box(es) will be left where your carrier normally leaves packages. Delivery requests noted in the "additional comments" section during checkout are sometimes honored by the shipper but not guaranteed. The 2nd email from us will be a shipping notification letting you know that your order has "left the building" and at the bottom will be a tracking number and notation if your order was shipped via UPS or FedEx. It's always best to copy and paste the tracking number into the carrier's website order tracking area to get up to date detailed information on delivery.

Beautiful quality, involved assembly
I am so impressed with the quality of this arbor. It’s sturdy, beautiful pieces of wood and looks absolutely amazing in my garden. The only thing I will say is the it is maybe only 10% predrilled. I needed to measure out and determine the remaining 90% of drilling locations so the assembly took me about 4 hours. But it is well worth it in the end. The arbor is so good that I can’t take off a star for difficult assembly but just know it will take a bit longer than you’re expecting

Yes! Our Pagoda Arbor Kit is a full kit. For lack of a better way of saying it, you will receive a box of boards. Each board will be cut, pre-drilled where needed and sanded. All the hardware you will need as well as assembly instructions are included. This is for the person who enjoys putting things together. If you don't own a drill, this might not be the arbor for you......that is unless you have someone close who can assembly it for you.
This arbor is 63 pounds. Because of the size, we do recommend staking your arbor either to the ground or your patio/deck. Honestly, it depends on where it's going to be. If you don't get much wind and it's going to be close to your house and you will have sturdy vines growing on it, you may not need them. But in most cases, it's just smart to anchor them in the ground. The proper anchoring system can easily be purchased in the spring/summer at a local hardware store.
The Cedar Pagoda Arbor Kit is not recommended to be placed on uneven ground. It is recommend that the area that it will be placed be leveled prior to installation. The manufacturer unfortunately does no do custom work and cannot provide one side longer than the other. There are many types of soil anchors that can be used such as xxxx in and drive in anchor. They can be found at some of the building supply sellers.
