Replacing the padded sling was definitely a challenge. Using the Vaseline that is recommended made it much easier to install. I applied a thin coat to the entire length of the edge of the sling on each side as well as the top inside edge of the rail that the sling would be folded over. Having to use the cloth and vise grips to pull it up the last four inches on each side. I also found that reattaching the rails to the frame was easier using hand pump clamps to pull the rail closer to the frame to screw in the bolts. On one of the chairs I had to use a pipe clamp at the top to squeeze the rails together to pull the padded sling up to the end of the rails.
After watching the you tube video the installation was a learning experience, but the one thing that I remember him saying is have "Patience"! The first one took about 45 to 60 minutes. Second one I tried a different way and realized that the first way was easier. One side was a little thicker than the other side. The thicker side was easier to put in the attached rail first. By the sixth chair I had it down to 15 minutes. Thanks JWB
