Log Style Cedar Wood Checking Process
You'll have sweet dreams when you choose a Rustic White Cedar Log Headboard from Outdoor Furniture Plus. This cedar log headboard is made from natural Northern White Cedar logs and carefully constructed to maintain a rustic appearance while still being exceptionally strong. This rustic log headboard comes in twin, double, queen or king sizes and is available unfinished or with clear, light honey or vintage whiskey stains. This rustic cedar headboard is made with durability in mind using a combination of galvanized hardware as well as Mortis and Tenon joints to create strength and unique style. It is quite normal for all cedar log furniture to endure the natural process of "checking." As the wood "seasons",
checking occurs as a log releases moisture across or through the annual growth rings. This process does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. All logs which contain the heart of the tree will develop these lengthwise cracks or checks. The checking spot never goes deeper than the heart. All of our log furniture is kiln dried before being used in production so that we can control where the location is on the checking. It is never used where it will effect the integrity of the product.

We do not require signatures upon receipt and box(es) will be left where your carrier normally leaves packages. Delivery requests noted in the "additional comments" section during checkout are sometimes honored by the shipper but not guaranteed. The 2nd email from us will be a shipping notification letting you know that your order has "left the building" and at the bottom will be a tracking number and notation if your order was shipped via UPS or FedEx. It's always best to copy and paste the tracking number into the carrier's website order tracking area to get up to date detailed information on delivery.

Legs of Headboard will need to be attached to the Center rung which is already preassembled.
Each leg contains (3) predrilled holes which lineup with most standard bedframes. Includes (4) 1/2" x 2 1/2" Leg Screws and (4) Washers to connect the legs to your bedframe.
